At Moku Motors Limited, we aim to maintain transparency throughout the vehicle sourcing and import process.

Deposits

Refundable deposits may be returned only when:

  • No vehicle has been successfully purchased
  • No irreversible commitments or costs have been incurred
  • The customer has complied with agreed terms and timelines

Any non-refundable service fees, auction access fees, administration charges, or third-party costs are not refundable.

Vehicle Purchases

Once a vehicle has been purchased on behalf of a customer, payments made toward the vehicle, shipping, sourcing, compliance, or related import services are generally non-refundable.

Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the stage of the import process and recoverable costs.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will generally be processed within a reasonable timeframe. Processing times may vary depending on banking providers, payment methods, and international transaction procedures.

Delays and External Factors

Import and delivery timelines may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside the control of Moku Motors Limited, including:

  • Shipping delays
  • Port congestion
  • Compliance inspection delays
  • Regulatory changes
  • Weather events
  • Transport disruptions

Such delays do not automatically qualify for refunds.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights customers may have under New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where applicable.
